We are Kristina & Aline! We met in Hyper Island in August 2023 and immediately started getting paired together for nearly every single module. What started as a coincidence developed into months of successful collaborations.

Over the course of the program, we faced a mutual understanding and an easy workflow. Our ideas flowed effortlessly, and our complementary skills made every project not just a success, but a truly rewarding experience. We actively sought out an internship together, believing that the creative magic we sparked together could bring even more value to the companies we worked with. With guidance from our mentor and the experiences we gathered through hands-on projects, our vision started to crystalize.

It was during these formative moments that the idea for Yew was planted. We recognized that what made our partnership unique wasn’t just our technical skills or passion for marketing and branding — it was our shared belief in the power of thoughtful strategy, deep research, and creative storytelling. We decided to turn our mutual ambition into something more tangible — a marketing and branding agency where strategy isn’t just a service, but an art form.
